It really is a great way to get rid of - and recycle - things and I think I'll add this information to my resource packet for new home owners. The large pot I rescued had a fairly large hole on one side so I put a piece of mesh on the inside to keep the dirt from falling out and keep it turned towards the steps and no one is the wiser.
