Thanks so much for the great response to "my" hydrangeas.

Gretchen - we had a very long, cool, rainy spring and I definitely think it made a difference.

Sharon - we have had so much fun with that promotion and can;t wait to think up more ways to promote GW. If you noticed, our past articles are archived under "Packed Away" and the chest is suppose to be symbolic of that.

Judy - only the first and last hydrangeas are mine and I don;t do a thing except cut them for big bouquets in the house. All the others are from around the neighborhood. Be sure and check out my Scenic Sundays for more pictures of Alexandria at its best.

Thanks to all for stopping by,

Hydrangeas bring back memories of living in Newport, Rhode Island - just like rhododendrons. My grandparents had hyrdangeas in their yard.

Great promotions to add subscribers - both the Starbucks card and also the subscribe forms in each of your posts. I'll be anxious to her the results of these and any other efforts.

Also really like the chest at the bottom of your page with the drawers open...

Best regards from a fellow Tomato,

Oh these hydrangeas are gorgeous. Do you feed them anything that keeps them so blue? They look great with the flag! Judy
