Window Boxes and Front Step Flowers Are a Visual Delight in Old Town Alexandria
June 29th, 2008 Categories: Old Town, Scenic Sundays
For the most part, front yards do not exist in Old Town Alexandria. Instead, colorful window boxes, stately urns, clustered pots of flowers and geometric topiaries welcome visitors and home owners alike. Enjoy a “walk” on this Scenic Sunday through the streets of Old Town . . .

How absolutely charming! So much character for so little outdoor space. They remind me of the homes in Holland where every square inch seems to be enhanced with flowers. I wish I were in the area, I would be visiting this walk on Scenic Sunday!
Thanks Sandy. Old Town Residents are house proud and it extends to the smallest of residences. Even it it’s just one pot of flowers, something will grace their door
step. Holland sounds lovely, I hope I’ll have the chance to see for myself one day.
